Colour Fade

Went to see a brilliant gig last night, one of my favourite irish bands, The Funeral Suits, in the Roisin Dubh, hadn't seen them live in ages, and they're new tune "Colour Fade" is an absolute cracker, check out the video below...

I thought I'd also do an outfit post for what I wore to the gig, for the absolute craic

Let It Burn

went home for Easter Sunday and ended up helping my folks start a bonfire in the garden to burn all of our old wood, branches and shrubs that were lying around our garden...

thankfully I had my trusty camera with me to take a few snaps of this very Pagan Easter Sunday...

Now I can assure you I'm no pyromaniac, but I do love a good fire.

whether its an open fire in your sitting room, or a wonderfully wild bonfire outdoors, there is something so captivating about the sight of a roaring, crackling, flame...

some primal instinct that holds our attention, through fright or awe, to watch it grow in strength and finally subside into embers..

Grouplove

Ive decided to incorporate a bit more music into this blog, since its something I absolutely could not live without, and share with you some of the bands/songs/albums Im digging at the moment...

So I'm really liking this Los Angeles band at the moment, Grouplove be their name...

this song "Colours"... looks like it could be one of my top tunes of the summer!...

also diggin the video for it, the styling is so fun and playful, reminds me of Peter Pan and the Lost Boys.... makes me wanna get my feather headdress out and play dress-up... :)

Gti Fashion Show

Here's a quick look at the two outfits I wore for the Gti Fashion Fiesta Fashion show, the one on the catwalk is by Harlow&Harvey, and the longer black one is by Youlia Mora, one of the students...

Loved wearing both of these dresses, so vampy... I felt like Cruellea Devil in the longer one, complete with cigarette holder and all :)

With the beautiful weather we've been having here in Galway lately it seems that Spring is in full swing....and it also appears that I've ben struck down with a dose of floral fever...
