Outfit Post: Sweet Thing

The Outfit:

The Edit:

shorts : zara // top : moussy // blazer : h&m (similar here) // heels : river island

It was only recently I realised that these shorts and top went so well together, the prints are almost like a complete inversion of each other, how cool is that?! The result is yet another print-tastic combination outfit, I know I know, maybe you're getting sick of it, but I can't help myself, I'm just diggin' all things bright and colourful at the moment.

I picked up these cute pajama-style shorts in the Zara sale a few weeks ago, they might even have some left in there if anyone is interested, they are extremely light and comfortable to wear. This blazer is an older purchase from H&M, and I'm really liking how slick it looks paired with a print-heavy outfit like this one. You can check out my recent Trend Report on all things white here to see a similar blazer thats available from Romwe. I would strongly recommend a white blazer, it's as a must-have in every fashion maven's wardrobe!

Gosh it feels like forever since I've had a proper outfit post on here! I've been so busy since the move, getting settled and starting my internship with Fashion One, that it's been proving difficult to find the time to shoot the outfits I'm wearing. I have been getting back into the swing of it these past few days, and so you can expect them to resume (somewhat) normally from now on!
This photo was shot my my lovely friend Lawrence at the Primark press event that I attended last week, so we didn't have much time to take lots of different angles and so on, we had to get it done super-fast!

Im sure most of you guys have seen from my over-zealous posting on instagram that I had a wonderful time at the press event, and that the new Penneys A/W collection is to die for! I'll post more photos and info on that event in my next "Internship Diary"(read my first one here) but for now, I'll just leave you with some silly photobooth snaps from the event... they're gas!

Outfit Post ~ Tulle dress (& Motel Rocks 25% Discount Code )

Dress : Motel Rocks // Denim Jacket & Necklace : Penneys/Primark // Shoes : Converse

((Nothing like a pop of red lipstick to make a girl feel glam eh?!))

I have been meaning to show you guys this beautiful tule dress from Motel Rocks for so long now, but I really wanted some good weather to be able to show it off properly, without being under a hundred layers! So I made sure to pack it in my luggage for my trip to Spain, so I could shoot it in the pretty sunlight! Teamed with my denim jacket, and some converse, I think this dress is perfect for a fun take on regular day-wear. I think this dress could also really work for a night-time look, if you added a nice pair of heels and a clutch, and maybe a blazer for warmth!

I uploaded this look to Lookbook, and you can hype it using the button below, or by clicking here:

Also, for the rest of this week only, my exclusive discount code for Motel Rocks has been increased from 20% to a whopping 25% on all full-priced items! So if there's something on the website you have your eye on, better snap it up soon! Just use my special code "WILDCHILDCIARA" at the checkout!

*Note: Don't forget that my usual 20% "WILDCHILDCIARA" discount code works all day, every day, and you can use it as many times as you like ~ You can even share it with your friends!*

Happy Shopping guys!

Outfit Post: Trust no Bitch

Tee Shirt & Faux-Leather Shorts : NowiStyle // Kimono : eBay // Sunglasses : eBay //
 Belt : Moschino  // Shoes : Penneys/ Primark (€5 bargain!)

Here is the third look from my series of holiday outfit posts, Ive been home for a few days now, and Im already missing the sun desperately. At least I can live vicariously through these outfit post, and know that I was once happy in the sun! The tee shirt and shorts I am wearing here are two very welcome new additions to my wardrobe, courtesy of NowiStyle, as I mentioned previously, I received a lovely parcel from them just before flying to Spain, and you can see one of the other pieces I got in this outfit post. I am really feeling these leather shorts, I was wearing my other H&M pair to bloody death, so its great to have a new pair to break in! If you don't have a pair of loose faux-leather shorts in your wardrobe, then you need to pick up a pair immediately, as they go with errrrythang.

Also, how beautiful is this fringed kimono?!? I have shown you snippets of it in previous outfit posts  but I've never gotten to show it off properly, I just love it! It was also a serious bargain on eBay too, I've put a link in the outfit description so you can check it out for yourself. I'm so tempted to get it in red also! Stay tuned for more holiday outfit posts in the coming days/weeks, and also an exciting giveaway that I have in store for you guys :)

Some sneak peaks of outfit posts that will be coming up on the blog in the next few weeks!

More jumping photos! We had such fun taking these!

The whole family, including my Pop, who rarely makes an appearance in photos!

My sis Briona, who was the most amazing photographer on this trip, she took all my outfit posts!

Well now that my holidays in Nerja (pronounced "Ner-ka") are over, and Im back in gloomy Ireland (boo) I thought it would be nice to do a little "Photo-Diary" style post to give you guys a little insight into what it was like! As you can see, I had an absolutely amazing time, I have fallen completely in love with Nerja, I'm so happy to be going back again in October for my sister Claire's wedding!

I would seriously recommend Nerja as a holiday destination, its not very touristy, so you get a real sense of Spanish life and people. The food, drink and accommodation are all fantastic and such great value and the people are lovely and very friendly. The area we stayed in is small and quaint, everything is in walking distance, and the landscape and architecture is so beautiful and rustic. As a blogger, I was overjoyed, as it was absolutely perfect for taking outfit photos!

I have quite a few more looks to post, you can see a few snippets them amongst the photos above, but I think it will be better to space them out a bit, rather than bombarding you with them all at once. I plan to have the first one up on the blog in the next few days, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

If anyone is interested in going to Nerja, and has any questions, feel free to drop me a line (via tumblr here or via email here) and I will share all I know, it really is a hidden gem!
